In this public evening talk, a statistician takes apart real headlines from Swiss media and shows, with live experiments and plenty of humour, how randomness actually behaves.
Expect coin-flipping ladders, a birthday-paradox check on the audience, and three simple questions you can ask of any statistic before believing it. The talk lasts about an hour and is followed by an open discussion over refreshments. In German, without prior knowledge; doors open at 7 pm.
